I don't think it is the same as the TSB. It happens cold or hot, 1rst through third gear, right around 2500 RPM. Just a rattling noise from the engine bay. For clarification, its a 2003 MP5 manual. Any ideas?

Haha thanks, yes you do. Only the rears are yellow though :\ I should mention I came to Mazdas from Volvos.. My old car was a '98 s70t5 that I manual swapped, motor swapped, and basically rebuilt (because everything broke)..

Just picked up a 93K mile MP5 from a dealer... it is in such good condition, well taken care of, has so much maintenance work done to it. They replaced struts, battery, timing belt/accessory, new tires, all of the plastic under the hood was replaced, and too much else to list. $6995. Really...
