Some of us have to use the European, in-channel deflectors, because we have wagons

I wasn't able to get the clips to go in... Also, I had to trim the vertical part of the front deflectors (the part you don't see) so that it would go in the channel far enough. Otherwise, it would bend the back of the channel out, at the top.
