In addition to the two front struts, and the two back shocks (I'm looking at buying KYB from Amazon), what other parts would I need to replace? Shock mount, strut boot?
I was reading an article in the New York Times discussing how often we ought to change the oil in our cars and how 3,000 miles is really a myth now. As I was reading I came across this section in the article:

I bought a new '10 Mazda5 Sport, automatic for $18,500 out the door using the S plan but I haggled the dealer way down on price (less than $17,000 before taxes etc.).
What is my best option for a cargo liner to cover both the seats (in any position) and the sides of the cargo area from scratches?
I know Mazda sells a soft cargo liner but has anyone bought one from Wal-Mart or anything like that?
Thank you sir...and thanks for the recommendation of buying new instead of spending $14,500 on a used one.
I feel A LOT better about spending $18,500 on a brand new car than I would've if I had gotten the used one...A LOT better(cabpatch)
Sticker was $20,185 before taxes and I paid $11,000 down getting it for $18,500 (total, including tax, title etc.) out the door.
Let me warn you guys around Louisville though. NEVER do business with Neil Huffman Mazda/Ford. They lied to me multiple times and behaved in a RIDICULOUS manner...
Well we did it!
Brand new Galaxy Gray 2010 Mazda5 Sport Automatic from Louisville, KY.
Sticker price was $20,185 but we only paid $18,500 Out the Door and we already love it more than we thought we would!
The price at Oxmoore is $16999 before tax for a manual. Even if I talked it down $1000 we're still looking at $17,500 after taxes.
I am probably going to buy a new automatic from Oxmoore tomorrow for $18,500 OTD.
Not bad if you ask me.
It's actually in Lexington Robotaz...at courtsey on nicholasville rd.
Why do you say it's average? Would would you consider a good price on an 09 with 32,500 miles?
It's an automatic. List price at the dealer is $14,987.
So with tax etc. at about $1,400 I am getting the car for $13,500 certified.
Paying in cash so no interest to consider.
09 Mazda5 Sport
32,520 Miles
$14,987
Runs well, great interior, couple exterior dents in the doors and a few scratches.
Out the door for $14,500 (INCLUDING tax, title, license) as-is.
Yes or No?
I personally think it's a GREAT deal.
