not sure about that year ,but i have a 93 mpv 4wd and that is leaking out oil as well.

did you ever had your airbag sensor (any of them) disconnected?if so go to the dealer or find the code reader and reset the airbag warning light.

hey look on your engine block has a smal triangles and line them up with the small holes (size 2 mm) on the timingbelt wheels.
