Subwoofer/amp mounted in rear storage cubby?

No, I'm running a JVC head Unit, and a Rockford Amp, bridged with the low pass @ 100hz and gain @ about 25%. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007BG5NLW/?tag=m20b7-20 It's small enough to fit under the right side store bin, so we retain the large storage bin in the center. New Product from PAC will allow you to retain AC control w/ aftermarket radio & more

It doesn't display any station info, as it is only one way communication to the stereo. The stereo has no idea about can bus commands. You program the clock with a series of button pushes from you steering wheel controls.

The blue tooth buttons work in that they can be assigned to what ever function you want for the aftermarket stereo. If the after market stereo supports answer / hangup etc, you can program them as such, or it may already be preprogramed to.

Possible to Install a Sub-woofer in a CX-9 without sacrificing cargo space?

I just bought the Bose subwoofer on E-Bay. I am going to replace the driver in it with a Tang Band 5 1/4" and a new amp. It may not slam, but I but it will be better than just the door speakers and save you space. The Bose sub for the cx-9 is all over on Ebay for under $100.
