Yea I did it myself. Hardly any trouble at all. The pin on the drivers side is a pain due to how little room you have to work with but nothing a little muscle wont fix. Took me about a half hour to do all the work. I was working slow and taking my time though.

Over the weekend wrapped the center console (cupholder area and around the stick shifter) in 3M Carbonfiber vinyl. Also did the door sills where the aluminum Mazdaspeed logo is. Will slowly work my way up over the ashtray toward the radio.

School zones are designated more for areas around the school for those kids that walk to school. Supposed to keep traffic slower for the safety of the children. That and in some states its used to keep the drug dealers buffered away from school. Side effect anything you do bad in the zone is...

I have the short shifter and bushings replacement and in my opinion there is no added difficulty in those shifts. To me its easier. just my opinion though.

It's all in how the wind runs down the back of the car. Sedans have a different degree on their back window and wind runs down it and blows the water off at speed. BOV vented to atmo shouldnt have any effect on this. Now the tubing being stretched may be creating a leak or is blocked by the 90 degree bend in the tubing.

Sounds to me like there a pipe loose somewhere. After installing my FMIC I had a similar problem. Turns out one of my couplings popped off on my FMIC. Just wasnt tight enough. And I agree make sure the little rubber hose is plugged back in and secured with that crappy little metal clip.

I believe there is a thing as too much carbon fiber and the roof would just be too much for me. Just not my thing. As for the spoiler lip...forgot about that and will add to the list of things to do.

Personally I'm rocking the Goodyear Eagle GT's. Took them into some snow/ice during the winter vacation and slide a little but thats the nature of ice. I run these year round.. I dont like having a full set of tires sitting around for all but 4 months of the year.

Without looking at it I'd have to agree..14k..thats a complete engine build for the speed. plus some body work and a few other upgrades.

I'm actually slightly envious. I wish I only had a 5 mile drive. Then again mine is only 20 miles but that's one way. I prefer to drive her spiritedly on the highway and just goofing off. Not to work where I have to look at her sitting in the parking lot all day. Congrats (beer)
