    New MS3 specific Koni's

The indication that I was given is that the new numbers have similar compression rates and ~20% damping increase. The FSD's and Yellows are almost identical in compression, the FSD is just more speed variant.

    New MS3 specific Koni's

Not really sure. From talking with the rep more, it seems that the new part numbers are specific to our car where the old numbers were generic to the Mazda 3 platform. So I don't think the old ones are going away. The one thing that bugs me is that the part numbers he gave me are the same...

    New MS3 specific Koni's

Here is an email I just got from Koni. Looks like they finally made a MS3 specific damper: Thank you for your interest in KONI for your Mazdaspeed3. Your email was forwarded to me as I own a Mazdaspeed3 myself and have been doing some FSD testing in the last few weeks are we are making an...

    Fender roller

Those Advans are actually what I wanted, but I ended up with some SSR's. Thanks for how to.

    Fender roller

How exactly did you do this? I am running 18x8.5 with 235 rubber. I don't plan on going any more aggressive than that.

    Any photographers in here?

Nice church shots! I was wondering what lens does everyone seem to use the most. I have 3 lenses, and I really seem to stick with my 35mm fixed for general walking around. I defiantly use my telezoom and kit zoom, but they don't normally live on my camera like the 35 does.

    Fender roller

Yeah I found some one in North Atlanta that has one for rent for 45 a week of Craigslist, but it has the crazy big deposit. I didn't know street unit rented a roller. I would rather have someone do it and have to fix it if they crack the paint, but I figure I can do it myself if I have to. Is...

    Fender roller

So I have searched around and haven't found much. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a fender roller in Atlanta so I can roll my rear fenders.

    KW Variant 1 Coilovers

Yeah my roommate has the V3's on his speed. Took them 5 weeks to get to him I think. KW stuff is pretty impressive from the pieces I have seen. I also know a lot of Evo owners run V3's for there cars. Also the Mazdaspeed coilovers are essentially re-valved V3's as I understand it. I know...

    My New Frozen Speed3

Seems like people have had the best luck with the Ford Motorcraft transmission fluid. I seem to hear a lot of people saying they develop a whine after 10-15k miles with the redline MT-90. I personally run the Motorcraft and it is excelent.

    18x8.5 fitment questions

So I have tried to do my homework and making sure the wheels I have found will fit, and I am still unsure. I found a set of 18x8.5 et 48 with some 235/40's. I know that I am going to have to roll the rears, will I need to pull them? Also I have heard that +46 clears the front stock struts...

MS3 Wheel Fitment Pics & Specs

I am looking at a set of SSR GT2 18x8.5 +48 with a 235/40 tire. Does anyone have experience with this fitment. I am fine rolling the rears, but not pulling them. I am worried about the front rubbing on the strut as well. It seems that this wheel fits with a 225/40 with about 1/4" of...

Oil oil brand and weight for 24k miles

I agree with gogogomoveit's point that Mazda knows more since they designed the engine, but the 5W-30 spec oil can mean several things unless a specific brand is named. 5W-30 oil from one brand to another doesn't necessarily match the viscosity of another brands 5W-30. Hell my 0W-30 oil tests...

Oil oil brand and weight for 24k miles

Lighter weight oil doesn't = better lubrication. It is all somewhat relative. Lighter oil has a lower viscosity so, yes it does flow easier, but as for lubricating better that is more determined by the bearing design. Tolerances, loading(P x V), and bearing wear characteristics all factor in...

    Wheel refinishing

So the wonderful people at the car shop grooved the crap out of the area around my lug nuts on my perfect stock wheels. Needless to say after some arguing, I got them to agree to help my fix it. Anyways where do I start to get a quote to get this fixed, bodyshops?

    What a day...(pics)

Looks good. Did you pull the calipers to paint them or just paint them on the car?
