    having a big problem

Ok, lets start off with the basics. I have a 2003 Mazda 6S automatic (manumatic or whatever they call it) It has an Injen CAI with the CP-E mass airflow customizer (to stop CEL'S) and a cat back Magnaflow Exhaust The problem is this. the car will shut off for no real reason. it happens mostly...

    MS6 vs. STi vs. Evo

Yeah i looked at the WRX when i was looking for a car, but could get a lot more for my money with the 6S. I also am stuck with the auto tranny due to work and long trips home to PA a few times a year. Manual was just too much shifting in local traffic.

    Coolant loss?

Very interesting, i would like to know the answer to that one myself just for knowledge. I would say it is normal that there needs to be room for expansion of the coolant when the car heats up, but i have no real idea.

    MS6 vs. STi vs. Evo

But to answer the question i say EVO over WRX They tested them side by side (car and driver i think) and they are basically the same car but the EVO handled better and put up SLIGHTLY faster times in the test because of it. But i wouldn't trade my 6S for anything but the MS6. I have gotten use...

    MS6 vs. STi vs. Evo

They make an Altima SE-R? I did not know that. Had a Sentra SE-R and it rocked in the speed and handling departments. The interior build quality sucked though so i traded it for my 6S. Although i still miss that little rocket sometimes. It would stomp my 6S on a highway run or light to light race.

    MS6 Now on Mazdausa.com

Guess we'll just have to wait until someone buys one to find out the truth. Looks great on paper but i would have rather seen a turbo/supercharged V6 then the 2.3Lt 4cyl. Sounds like a millenia to me. Think i will just stick with the old 6S for a while.

2004 mazda 6/ 2.3l injen cold air intake

Yeah, lots of the V6's had a problem with the check engine light when they installed the Injen intake. I bought the CPE unit to prevent that and have not had a CEL yet since i installed my Injen. Had it on for about 2-3 months now. I didn't install mine until i got the CPE unit for that very...

    What do you think....

I would think that you would be able to get more air into the CAI since it sits right behind the one on the drivers side, I thought about replacing them with something mesh so the air could get through myself.

    Another recall

P.S. you have a 4cyl anyway so it doesn't apply to your car. Only the V6

    Another recall

    Another recall

Here is what my recall says. Mazda motor Corporation has decided to conduct a Special Service Program to replace the fan control module on 2003-2004 Mazda6 vehicles with the V6 engines produced from October 2, 2002 through September 30, 2003. It is possible the soldering on the fan control...

    Another recall

Anyone get the recall on the fan control module yet? I just got one Friday of last week. I suppose it should be a quick and easy fix. Anyone had it done and know how long it will take for them to do. I need to know if i can wait for it or if i have to get some transportation for the day. P>S>...

    Kia-Mazda Collaboration

very interesting stuff, not that i will ever buy a Kia/Hyndai I read an artical that said Hyndai had the best initial quality rating in the US on their cars? Must have just been a bunch of fluff to sell them. They said that the KOrean manufactured cars were very well made. I guess initial...

    Car Polish

that's the way to do it. All that snow and salt will just rust away your car if you don't keep a good coat on it. Even though i'm down south now i still follow the before summer, before winter rules i had in PA.

    My Poor Baby

No it was a big truck with a solid cast iron style bed on the back. Not like F150 big but like tow truck big. May he be infested by a thousand crotch crickets that haunt his every waking moment! (naughty)

    Car Polish

i do mine twice a year with the good stuff and every wash in between with the wax as you dry from Eagle 1. Once before winter, once before summer. But if a shop does it like yours i would say every 2 years would be fine. I use to detail cars for Lincoln Mercury in PA, what a kick ass job that...
