VDO 15lb boost gauge. cockpit series. Brand new never used. I ordered the wrong one (different series) and already opened it so i can no longer take it back. Asking $30 OBO

alright guys thanks alot it seems the vast majority is around 200 or above. ill just go one hose grade up to avoid any problems.

I know this varies from car to car but i was wondering what the average oil temp is for an MSP. i am running oil lines and they have certain temp limits and i need to know how hot the oil gets to make a well informed decision, thanks!

ok so i will deff use a 100psi gauge and for the sending unit while all these post have been of much help i need just a little more help. if i choose to run the 1 aftermarket gauge without the stock sender (that is the dummy light correct?) will my oil light always stay on? or will that be...

VDO sells a set so i think im gonna go with that but i will need to look into finding a plate. where can i get one? and what size gauge should i use? 80psi? should be enough right? i dont need the 100 correct?

i dont have a stock oil pressure gauge just oil temp. so where would the stock sender be?

ok so to make a long story short i lost a lot of oil in the last couple of weeks and wasent really aware of it so now im installing an oil pressure gauge. so my question is (and this would really help if the people who have actually done it before could tell me) where do i install the oil...

because a shop around town told me instead of rebuilding my turbo. that they have one from a 04 STI that i can just buy and put in my car. i just want to make sure that i have no problems with it

i googled the info and cannot find it. im hoping someone on here can help me out. can u swap a 2004 STI turbo into a 2003 MSP? and what is the size difference if any? possible drawbacks?

sam, i could be wrong but the T25 is not a ball bearing turbo correct? and for ones that are, i read somewhere that you cannot get replacement kits for ball bearing turbos. i am aware that it needs to be correctly balanced which is exactly why im not letting just anyone give it a shot. this car...

yea haha i looked into that. more money than i have to put into the car at the moment. i found a dsm shop here in toledo that wants 200 for the kit and labor. not bad right guys? and its a garrett T25 if im not mistaken?

yea sorry guys i forgot about this thread. im not sure what it was exactly. i just replace my whole ignition system (plugs, wires, coilpacks, etc.)

hookay so. a few weeks ago i noticed smoke coming out my exhaust so im pretty sure that my oil seals in my turbo are going bad. my bearings wind up and down fine i can hear them and the turbo seems to be spooling as usual. i took it to the local turbo dealer and they wanted about 500 to rebuild...
