i got to 24k-ish on the stock toyos. they do tend to wear relatively quickly due to the shallow tread and relatively soft compound. That and they're on a fwd car with tons of torque.

When it comes down to it, 95% of the engine failures are either the result of careless modding or poor driving techniques. Or, most commonly it is a combination of both because you have the same mentality as an ignorant Honda driver.

are you sure its not the syncros i the transmission. also you should always blip the throttle when you downshift to avoid putting to much stress on the transmission.

seriously dude dont let the clutch out before you are ENTIRELY in the gear. if someone like me whos only been driving since September doesn't miss and grind ears then you shouldn't be driving a stick.

Its probly the electric throttle body. There is about a 3rd of a second delay between when you move the pedal and the throttle body adjusts. mine does the same thing and i dont worry about it.

Try reaching around with an extendable magnet ad see if you pick it up

So i've got a cobb 3" cat-back and it moves around a hell of alot. Even taps my bumper when i hit the smallest bump. Does any body know were to get stiffer exhaust hangers?
