I have a fairly new Cobb Accessport with everything that came in the box when I received it. Bought it back in February of 2009 and flashed my car and left in my house the remainder of the time. It is now divorced and I don't have a speed3 anymore so this is up for grabs. I'm asking $580obo.

If I'm not mistaken, the most efficient place to tap is about 5 inches before the throttle body. Just my 2 cents.

19 - college. I would have loved to have this car at 17... damn it would be a monster by now if i had it that long.

Check the spark plugs. Get a step colder. If you are running maps or any mods its a MUST, not an option. Heavy load puttering really only happens due to the plugs or fuel related issues/air readings but I'd bet a couple dollars new spark plugs would do the trick... if not a spark plug clean.

Just an FYI for anyone that has similar issues in the future and looking at this thread. The tech at the dealership had called and told me he replaced the fuel pump and purge solenoid valve... so I assume these parts were causing the issue. Turns out, as soon as I turn on my car to leave the lot...

If it's cold it could be from that. More serious issues would be fuel pump, oxygen sensor, maf sensor, etc. but I wouldn't bet on that.

dude my post that is like 3 below yours tells you everything. i had the same exact issues. probably fuel pump. if your dealer is cool they'll do it for free but if not then its expensive :(

I don't think it allows you to do that yet. I believe it opens it wider but not to full.

hmm. After doing some more research, running over the codes, and checking stats on AP I think I might have a bad front O2 sensor. Do these symptoms seem indicative of a bad sensor? When i check real time AFR on AP there is no update. Every now and then it'll start logging and it'll stick around...

Will dealerships still honor the warranties if there are aftermarket parts on the vehicle? All I have on now are intake and aftermarket bov and I'm throwing a p2177 and p2187 and I have a feeling it might be the tsb's (bought used so don't know if they've been replaced is there a way to find...

the ecu reset and bov tighten did nothing.... going to pressure test it today and check all the fittings to make sure they're tight and try reinstalling the old bov.

im going to reset now and it's a real greddy. and when you mean refresh on the map you mean stock map right? i adjusted the bov (tighter) and unhooked the negative power supply and am going to check it in 30 minutes or an hour to see how it runs. hopefully that will solve the problem. if not i...
