    burning oil on startup, some intermittent misfires, and a few deductions...pls help

    In reading thus far, it sounds like valve stem seals are the culprit. Car is losing oil, but no drips or leaks anywhere on the outside of the motor (unlike my Audi, but that is a different tale).
