I just had the rotors machined which fixed the issue. The front rotors were glazed over which is kind of weird since it doesn't get driven hard. Surprisingly, the brake pads were thicker than I thought.
Thanks for the help!
I'll just throw some rotors and pads at it. My pads are almost dead anyway.
I'm use to my BMW which is always a complicated answer to a simple problem. At least one of my cars makes things simple!
I'm getting a loud clink when I take off from a stop somewhat aggressively. Here's a video of what my rear mount looks like...I guess it looks like a rear motor mount.
So I need a new mount because this one looks to be shot since it has so much play in it.
Just checking...this part below...
Not a serious issue but I think the cloth and carpet are quite crappy. My interior is subject to abuse from my 5 y/o daughter but still. It looks like its 10 years old and my car is only a year old.
At a minimum, you should upgrade to track spec brake pad, bleed your brakes, and go with some good summer tires.
Then do suspension work (springs, sways, bushings, etc). I'd leave the engine alone until later on.
It is the single-din kit from crutchfield. Never opened/used.
