reving it to long. i spun a bearing on connecting rod number 8. I bought aftermarket bottom end and had it professionaly installed. and 2 pistons hit the bottom of the head

screw the turbo. ill get a port and polish for half that.

well i bought the protege because i blew my engine on a 1998 mustang gt lol and i spent 4 grand on the rebuild and it still doesnt run. I need help on the protege

lol... you gotta have forged internals for any boost for reliability. My friend had a 1990 talon tsi with forged internals @ 8 psi and blew his motor. Hell I might as well put a 50hp shot of nitrous on my protege if my stock connecting rods can handle 8 psi.

No im not. lol. I had a carfax report done on it and it was a one person owner and I asked the car salesman who just traded it in and he told me it was a 65 year old woman lol. But that car is ******* slow. I guess protege's came out with 4.11s but **** there aint no horsepower to pull the car...

I've had my 03 protege es for about 6 months now and ive installed a cold air intake and a racing muffler. I'm looking to get some serious hp out of the car but i have no idea to get there? I dont have the money for a turbo so would nitrous be a possiblity? And do they bigger cams for better...
