Well guys from what i can tell you all have aready gotten the flash done on your cars. However on 10/6/03 Mazda finally released a TSB so all dealers now have the elusive information. If any one is still having trouble you can now refer to TSB 01-002/03 .

a 4.0 l is a pretty good engine, good torque...but not high on the rev's

I hate to tell ya this guy............but thats about all she wrote. I was just out talking to one of my tech (22 years with mazda) and his comment was about 85 mph is all your gonna get, the fuel cut of along with vehicle speed are cutting it off. Sorry man........that sucks.

Not a good ideal man...doing that is going to accomplish 2 things 1) make you have to go throught the wonderful prosess of having to reset all the stuf on that waaaaay to complicated tunes box, 2) if anything if could make it drove WORSE untill it relearns is't program (which by the way will be...

you would be supprised some of the diagnosis these guys have to do you can throw the pcm thing up but for the most part......they are pretty amazing.....besides....not very difficult???When was the last time you looked under the hood of a Millenia S?

how do you figure.....it depends on their hourly rate that you pay each tech...i have guys i pay $14.00 per flat rate hour and some i pay $26.00 per flat rate hour depending on skill level and how long they have been here.

the tough part about that is that in this area dealership tech make about 35% more then independant techs turning the same hours
