The V6 in the 6 s is not a Ford engine. It uses the BLOCK from Ford's Duratec, that's all. Everything else is designed and engineered by Mazda.

Does the RX8 show "Hello" also? The few I've driven all flashed "Mazda Rx8" at start up. Honestly I wish my 6 showed the hello message instead of BOSE. I guess the labels on the speakers and amp weren't enough.

The 6 is like that too. I don't usually have a lot of stuff in my trunk, but when I do, it's nice to be able to load it without it being crushed.

I would rather be run over by a 350z or G35 coupe than drive either one of them because both are ugliER than hell to me. Someone could offer to give me one free of charge, pay for the gas, insurance, and maintenance, and I would STILL pick the RX8 over either one of them.

You're joking, right? The 3 looks nothing like a Neon; Stevie Wonder can see that. Some of yall are sad. It's almost like you're hating because the 3 is SOOOO much nicer than the Protege. Again, the Protege and the P5 are nice little cars, but they have nothing on the 3.

Word. There's nothing bad about it. Look at the Corolla, Civic, Sentra and Lancer, and tell me this car isn't better looking (inside and out) than all of them. I'll go a step further and say it's nicer than the Protege too, which is already head of the class, in my opinion.

Looks like the 3 has a big set of rotors. Should have some powerful braking like the 6, maybe better since it's so much lighter.

I think Mazda missed the boat by not giving us HID's this year ('04) too seeing as the overseas models offer them, and the RX8 and upcoming 3 offers them as options! Not fair.

Im a little late in finding this board, but here's one more 6 s owner. I have a black 5 speed V6, pretty much fully loaded, that I've owned since March '03. Nice car, but I think I'll be trading up to a nice 330i at the end of the year. ;)
