Unfortunately, this was the red indicator in front of the driver and not the orange lighting in front of the passenger. I had the same thought as you did and I looked over and there was nothing on the seat at the time.

I have the same issue and when I originally installed the mounts I thought there was something wrong.

When I put it in random/shuffle mode, trying to fast forward to the next song takes it out of random/shuffle mode and it just goes to the next song in the sequence. Is there a way to skip through the songs but maintain being in random mode? Thanks.
