    HELP! Coilover compatibility

i figured they were sleeves. My friend just kept calling them coilovers. If i have to "make" them fit, then i dont want to risk it. I'll just save up and shell out the $250 for a set that i know will fit and a shop can do for me. That being said...... does anyone want to buy a set of...

    HELP! Coilover compatibility

The set includes the springs, a metal piece that goes in the bottom of the spring to adjust the height, and two caps for the top of the front springs. I took a look at them today compared to the stock ones, and they are almost an inch thinner in diameter! I'm guessing they will definitely NOT...

    HELP! Coilover compatibility

I just bought a set of used coilovers from a friend. I called a shop to set up an appointment to install them, and they said they won't do it unless i am sure they will fit. Unfortunately, i cannot find a part number on these coilovers anywhere. They came off an Eagle Talon, then went on a...

Finally got these bad boys on

I will be lowering it as soon as i have enough time and money (my friend is selling me coilovers for $50, let's hope they fit on my baby). I will also be getting the wheels painted black professionally for about $400 (ouch). Again, money is the key factor here. And no, i am not getting them...

    Good winter car?

i personally would look for a newer model, but if you really want that '91, i say go for it and swap in a newer engine. Also, be careful if it is an automatic, see the various threads about tranny problems. Other than that, i absolutely love my 2001 626. especially in the snow :D Its a nice...

Finally got these bad boys on

the center of the grille was already black, but i painted the emblem black myself. I would like to paint the rest of the grille black, but i dont know how to get it off the car. The emblem just popped right off, the chrome part of the grille i think is attatched pretty well.

Finally got these bad boys on

Sometimes the simplest answers are right under your nose. It took me months to figure out how to get them on. What do you think?

They hit the shocks and control arms, so i need to put extended wheel studs to fit spacers that came with the wheels i bought. I dont have much choice on the tires right now, i am beyond broke :) I am going to NYC tomorrow to get the studs installed, and then i can get these puppies rolling :D

    Loud Engine Whistle

Could be a hole in your intake. Air passing through the hole can cause a whistling noise. Try removing the parts up to the air filter (but leave the air filter on), and see if the whistle goes away. If so, then the hole is on that part of the intake. Sorry, i cant give much better advice as i...

    Mazda 626 screeching...need help

Nothing to worry about. The "Serpentine Belt" is a little loose. My car did it too, i took it to the shop and my mechanic tightened it for free. I'm sure there's a tension screw or something somewhere to tighten it yourself, i just never took the time to look for it.

Trip Odometer and Lights on warning

maybe there is an issue with keeping power to your ecu when the car is off? If you re-set the ECU (unplug the battery then drain all power) your trip odo will reset. Maybe that is happening every time you shut your car off? (scratch) just my $0.02

Whats good way to learn french?

"Rosetta Stone" apparently works. Or Muzzy. Hahaha. Best way to do it is to immerse yourself in it. Read, listen to french music, and practice speaking it.
