+1 The dealership cannot legally VOID your entire warranty for having aftermarket modifications. However, they can deny a warranty claim if they can prove that the aftermarket part caused the problem.

Factory gauges are hardly ever exact. I would believe the scanner for actual data over the factory gauges.

Honestly, I don't know much about offset either. You are best off calling a reputable tire & wheel shop (ie TireRack) and asking them about the correct offset. I think there are some people running 235 tires on their speed3's. May want to do a search.

Check out the 5zigen 5ZR wheels. Stock tire width is 215 IIRC
