After alot of hemming and hawing we decided to go with a galaxy gray 2008 sport model...17,500 total cost (no sales tax in Oregon)...I think we paid a fair price. ??? We are really happy with our decision. Thanks again for all of your wordly Mazda 5 advice...really helped us in our decison...

THanks, that does help. Stopped by the dealer today to look at the 08 Sport model...actually really liked it as the interior has less of the plastic silver (doesn't have it on the doors)...I am not a big fan of the silver painted plastic! Thanks so much for all of the advice! Will let you know...
