You can only hear the intake when you spool up, and there is no engine noise that comes out of the intake. And the engine isn't any louder, if anything it seems quieter. Tim said it didn't void the warranty if you install it. He did both of ours, if ya get one, he said he would help you install...

I have the Mazdaspeed intake and it isn't any louder than the exhaust. Now I can actually hear the turbo and it made it lots faster, especially in first and second gear. It also makes the exhaust sound quieter. And like Tim, I now want to ride with my window crack and the radio off...LOL.

Well what a coincidence....but no on the probe. He has already put $10,000 in one before. But he sold it and Andy has it now. Plus he has already started modding both our cars. Intakes on these cars are a MUST.
