well i called the dealer and its the same exhaust pattern and mounting points for the 1.6, 1.8 & 2.0 protege 99-03

so the exhaust system for the 1.6 is the same as 1.8 and 2.0 , except for the diamater ? just want to confirm this anyone knows if one of those kits has a 3.5 inch tip
