    2016 CX-9 Signature leaking coolant

Honestly, the reason I waited so long to poke under the hood and see whether I was leaking was just overconfidence from how absolutely excellent the CX-9 has been until now. Aside from the amount of dog fur inside it it still feels like the day we got it. It still hadn't felt any differently...

Thanks, I bought it new May 2018 so I'm good there.

    2016 CX-9 Signature leaking coolant

I've been noticing water in the garage for a little while but wrote it off as A/C condensation (even knowing this TSB existed...so stupid) until this morning, when my wife pulled out of the garage and there was still water there. Knowing "real" water would have evaporated by then, I dabbed it...

2021 CX-9 Wireless Charger: Part number and retrofit?

Huh, thanks for the link! Having to replace the CMU is way too expensive of an undertaking just to get wireless CarPlay. I would *maybe* upgrade the CMU if I could get the most current MazdaConnect as well but I'm not going to hold out hope on that one. If I could get the part number for the...

2021 CX-9 Wireless Charger: Part number and retrofit?

Does anyone have the part number of the wireless charger that's supposedly available with the '21 CX-9's? I'm using the Carlinkit wireless CarPlay adapter (which has been working mostly fine so far, although if there's some way to add native wireless to the "old" infotainment I'd love to...

Mazda Connect Firmware 74.00.230A (now .324A)

Would also very much appreciate a link to the new firmware. I'm sure the dealer charge to have them do it will be ridiculous.

    Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

I'm still striking out trying to get a dealer to install it in the Bay Area. They say they're only doing 2018 3's and 6's right now... edit: NICE. The only one I had yet to call can do it on CX9's after the 20th!

    2019 CX-9 feature list

Is it weird that, knowing that the 2018's will get CarPlay retrofitted soon, the one thing on this list I want the most are the power folding mirrors? I'd assume that those mirrors ALSO then sync to seat memory, right? Don't they overseas? I guess I'd probably use the ventilated seats...

    Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

That article's a few weeks old. It just hasn't been announced for the states YET, and there's word from Mazda USA today that an announcement is going to happen next week. Patience, friends. We're close.

Motor Trend MAZDA CX-9 LONG-TERM UPDATE 5: HOW THE INTERIOR IS HOLDING UP

Eh, the Signature still has the piano black surrounds most likely to get scratched - immediately surrounding the shifter and door switches. I went GT instead of Signature because I didn't like the color of the leather, but I've definitely looked into swapping the wood trim over.

Carplay and Android Auto coming soon? Crossing fingers...

Yeah, guaranteed that the engineers already have this ready to roll as soon as the lawyers, accountants, dealerships, support people, and technicians have all signed off.

Did Volvo just seal the combustion engine's fate?

How clean your electric car is varies greatly on where you live. On the West Coast between you come out ahead by a good amount with an electric. In places with lots of coal plants you don't.

Carplay and Android Auto coming soon? Crossing fingers...

That's the reason why I want CarPlay in a Mazda and I don't care about it in a Honda. If I'm going to be pawing at a screen it doesn't really matter to me whether it's a touchscreen in the dash or the touchscreen on the phone. I want a good physical control that naturally falls to hand instead...

    CX-5 16 vs. 17 Side Profile Black

I prefer the '17. Looks cleaner and will age better. edit: I do like the rear spoiler on the '16, though.

    SavageGeese 2017 review........

This guy bugs the s*** out of me. * He tries to be funny and SO RANDOM like Mr. Regular Car Reviews guy, but he's not funny. * His mechanic dude has no meaningful insight into modern cars. "ENGINE POINTS THE WRONG WAY" "NOT A V8" etc. * No sense of joy or humility like someone like Matt Farah...

    Article about diesel

Exactly. The 2.5T would have a price premium AND suck down more gas. It's not going to happen, people.

Well this time, looks like its for real guys

Keeping the car you have is *always* the most financially sound option. Shell diesel in Aus is going to be completely different than Shell diesel here.

Well this time, looks like its for real guys

I think the value proposition for the diesel for me is not that it's going to save a tremendous amount of money or get hybrid-level gas mileage, but that it could give a good bit better gas mileage than the N/A while having similar power to the 2.5T. If the savings in fuel are outweighed by the...
