    "Runaway smash hit" (?)

Well, there would be no point in advertising for potential customers to check out the 5 if there is such a low inventory of 5s! ;) I'm sure they are waiting for inventory to ramp up before advertising.

    Mazda5 Review in LA Times

Dan Neil is a 2004 Pulitzer Prize winner writing for the L.A. Times. http://www.pulitzer.org/year/2004/criticism/ I actually fine his "occasionally long" car reviews humourous and entertaining... and we are talking about cars! If you can believe it, his review of the 2008 Honda Accord bucked...

    Mitsubishi Grandis for Canada?

What about if you take the front wheel off and get one of those front fork clamps ($5) and mount it to the floor (back of folded down 2nd row seat)? Would the bike fit then? I haven't actually tried it. I think I saw such a setup in a Volvo V50 pic... or maybe it was a Honda Element? maybe...

    2008 Mazda5: SUBSTANTIAL CHANGES!!!!

^+2 That's why in Canada the M5 still outsells the 7 seater Rondo :). Love those sliders! Picked up the cargo cover so I can put things in the back away from prying eyes. Still have to take it out if I need those 2 extra seats.

    2008 Mazda5: SUBSTANTIAL CHANGES!!!!

SPV - Special Purpose Vehicle (as much as one would like the word performance) The manner in which the seats fold leads me to consider it a station wagon. Think of station wagons of yesteryear or the Volvo V70 (tailgunner style). Only thing that may sway it to the minivan camp are the sliding...

    2nd mazda5

Still the only one with sliding rear doors! (Take that, Rondo!) Too bad the 6 will no longer be available in the wagon version. The wagons were making a comeback, but now they are a dying breed again. Only the 5 left...

    Replacement struts for the wagon.

Just brought the wagon in for an oil change and also had the hatch struts changed because it stopped opening fully. Kept banging my head. (freak) Fortunately, it was under warranty (35 months). I now find it opens a lot slower. Any idea how to make it open faster? I don't want to use the...
