I got the tuner for $150 on ebay. Looks like I will have to fork out another hundred bux or so then. I didn't know you can use another brand, aftermarket, sirius tuner with the stock mazda head unit. I have a kenwood setup in my dodge ram, but my wife insists the stock mazda HU stays in her car...

Why not? Is there a specific reason I couldn't just tap into the wires? Or, wire in a manual A<->B switch?

So in that case do you know which 2 wires in the clip are the audio +,- wires? This way I can just splice the 1/8" jack into them. Of course, I am not going to use the sirius radio and ipod 1/8" jack at the same time. Does anyone know?

Yes, it is the Mazda 0000-81-G01A Sirius Tuner Kit. I was hoping that I wouldn't have to use some type of switch. Thanks for the help.

I have a new Mazda3 2008. Right now I have the IPOD plugged into the 1/8" aux input in the console. I ordered a SIRIUS tuner today... my question is, after the SIRIUS tuner is connected I am no longer going to be able to use the 1/8" input jack? Is this true even though my radio has seperate AUX...
