Totally agree- we just had a foot of snow- and all the salt & muck that goes with it. The lower door feature that Mazda designed to prevent it all from getting on your clothes worked perfectly. Can't say the same for alot of others I see at work with the "salt" marks on dark pants, lol

There is a separate manual for the remote start too, if you have it, explains well how when started with the remote, what features are temporarily disabled on the smart key.......also make sure you get the small metal KeyCode tag to put in a safe place.

Your right about the availability of the combo, I'm in VA and my dealer found mine in Northern PA.
