Don't get me wrong -- I totally agree with you. However, in my experience, dealers will find any possible excuse to get out of waranteed work.

So I assume the same goes for the exhaust?

As for the BOV, if I get the intake, I will hear the stock BOV sound better, no? What about re-circ diverters, like on VW's? And, I have had aftermarket intakes void the warranty previously... even AT THE SAME MAZDA DEALER. I'm assuming that buying the actual Mazda part would be different...

The dyno in the May issue of SCC is similar.

1. Will the MS CAI or exhaust from the dealer affect the warranty? My dealer said no when I asked, but I would love some corroboration of this. 2. Does anyone know if Mazda does/will carry a B.O.V. and/or boost gauge for the MS3? If not, would aftermarket pieces affect the warranty? Thanks.
