2010 front end clunking when turning on bumpy roads

Before you change the shocks, change the sway bar bushings... super cheap, super common (search sway bar bushings or suspension clunks on this forum and you'll be presented with an untold number of threads about it. Easy to switch out the rear and a PIA to switch out the front unless you drop...

Driver side mirror fell oout and it is apparently a non-standard size, how to find?

When one of mine broke I just went to a local wrecker and popped a mirror out of the housing on one their cars (was something like $10), and popped it into my housing.

Mazda5 Interior / Cargo Flexibility Photos

Dude.... you realize you were about 450 lbs over the Gross Vehicle Weight Restriction for you vehicle right? Then add another 180 lbs for a driver = about 630 lbs over... that is very dangerous, not just for yourself and your car, but for other drivers on the road.

    2007 Mazda5...New Owner...Have some problems

    1. Definitely Sway Bar Bushings. Very typical for this car. It's an easy, quick fix for any shop, front is a PIA for the DIY'r. Tell the shop not to drop the whole subframe and just use extensions and swivels... tell them this sub says so... will keep the labour bill down. 2. Bent rims can...

    Trailer hitch + bike rack

Was looking at the specs on the link you provided and just wanted to make sure you saw this: "Note: You can only carry 2 bikes when using a Class I trailer hitch"

    Trailer hitch + bike rack

Just remember that if you use an adapter to upsize your 1&1/4" hitch to a 2" hitch, it does not change the tongue weight that your class 1 hitch can safely carry. In fact, by adding the adapter and moving the weight further away from the hitch, you're actually increasing the leverage and...

    OEM Roof Rack Differences

Oh man, awesome, thanks for this! Yep you're right, had them in the right locations but had no idea that middle front one needed to be upside down!! You should post this as a separate thread... I'll bet lots of second hand owners (and probably first hand) cruising around with these placed...

Just bought a Mazda5 and need some help!

After owning a 2007 for almost 7 years now... suspension related "Mazda" branded parts will fail early and need to be replaced. Replace with non-Mazda parts and it's really the only part of the car that will cause you any issues, beyond potentially the engine mounts. Hear some weird squeaks...

Anyone ever hear knocking from the rear?

Oh ya, most people on this site will attest to the bushings looking fine, then upon replacement the knocks miraculously disappearing.

    Floor Liners

Just search under the 2008 model year for weathertec, same mats and dimensions, all fit perfect (I didn't buy the 3rd row mats, but assume they'd fit just as well). I have a 2007, which also isn't listed and bought 1st and second row mats. The only tiny difference is in 2008 Mazda added rear...

Previously Wrecked 06 M5, Front caster is out of wack. Any ideas what to do?

Sounds like a blown strut... but I believe Monroe has a lifetime warranty, so they should replace it free of charge.

    Removing factory hatch spoiler

Pretty sure it's one piece... but shouldn't be too much trouble to just swap the entire rear hatch as long as they are the same colour?

    bent and/or warped wheels

I had the same issue about 4 years back... hit a huge pothole at speed and bent two rims. My local tire shop... think it was a Kal Tire in Vancouver was able to fix them for, I think, around $100 - $150 per wheel. The fixed rims are still great today. Some aren't fixable but call some local...
