After owning a 2007 for almost 7 years now... suspension related "Mazda" branded parts will fail early and need to be replaced. Replace with non-Mazda parts and it's really the only part of the car that will cause you any issues, beyond potentially the engine mounts. Hear some weird squeaks...

Just search under the 2008 model year for weathertec, same mats and dimensions, all fit perfect (I didn't buy the 3rd row mats, but assume they'd fit just as well). I have a 2007, which also isn't listed and bought 1st and second row mats. The only tiny difference is in 2008 Mazda added rear...

Sounds like a blown strut... but I believe Monroe has a lifetime warranty, so they should replace it free of charge.

Pretty sure it's one piece... but shouldn't be too much trouble to just swap the entire rear hatch as long as they are the same colour?

I had the same issue about 4 years back... hit a huge pothole at speed and bent two rims. My local tire shop... think it was a Kal Tire in Vancouver was able to fix them for, I think, around $100 - $150 per wheel. The fixed rims are still great today. Some aren't fixable but call some local...
