i know you said that you looked at the rsb but did you tighten it. i've had mine loosen up and it sounds like the jack is loose (metal hitting metal). Just check the nuts to see if they are tight its probably that.

the noise is most likely from the strut bearing...had mine replaced and noise is completely gone now.
