my goals are really just do have a fun daily driver, without forging the engine or anything like that, so basically just bolt ons. i dont really have a specific goal that im looking to get right now, but im thinking after i start modding the car i will get a feel for what i really want out of it.

is it smart to get an SMIC as one of the first mods or is that somethin to hold off for a little while?

i have been sitting in my car for the last hour trying to get this thing out and have not had any luck. i stick in the tools on the side and try to get it to budge but it doesnt move at all.

yeah the noise i am talking about is constant, never goes away, and is bugging the hell outta me.

i rarely keep the clutch pushed in when i am stopped at a light. for quick stop signs i sometimes keep it in, but not always.

no, at least i dont think so. if it does the engine noise is too loud and overpowers that noise. the noise is constant, the only time it is not going is if the clutch is pushed in.

i would think it would be part of the clutch too....but i brought it in to mazda for the sound, and they replaced the clutch under warranty. now it just seems like the noise is getting louder. it also gets noticeably louder after driving for a while. could it be that mazda just did not replace...
