intake kit can be short ram... Cold Air and ram are the different ones...the K&N can be both Cold Air drops the filter down lower to it can get cooler air, and is much less restrictive than a traditional air box, while a short ram does not drop the intake piping down and is also less...

To be honest i disagree with the Rice statement about the EVO, i think it has a more Euro look to it than most other asian cars...and they sure as hell arent rice when it comes to performance...though you could do what a lot of people did in my MKIII forum... get a sprinter vent from a junk yard...
