Well I took you're advice and just purchased the Alpine SEC 150R that has the proximity sensor. It was $125 + $15 shipping on eBay. The guy with the Hornet still has the same 12 of them for sale now as he did yesterday. But the guy with the Alpine had six yesderday, and then when I checked it...

Can someone recommend me a good installer in the D/FW area? I wish I knew someone who did it on the side so I didn't have to pay retail..

Thanks for your input guys! Maybe instead of buying a good one off ebay for about $150 and trying to install it myself, I could just go to a place that installs them and get a cheap one installed for that price. I don't need the best, I just want to have keyless entry and an alarm that works!
