So far it is noticeable around 15 to 25mph, over that it’s hard to notice it. The whine sounds like that of a super charger but much lower volume and kind of muffled tone.

I haven’t had issue yet with auto store that collect used oil, between the vehicles I have, once or twice a year trip to auto store is enough for me. Coolant is harder to recycle but our county has 3x/year free collection of such fluids so that solves that part.
