Do you notice what is called "vailing glare"; a reflection on the windshield from the painted piece above the gauges? If so is it bad enought to be concerned about?

I've tried holding the door (while driving - I've never been a passenger yet) and the noise was still there. I need to get someone to drive while try and locate the source. If that doesn't give me a simple solution I will start taking one part of the IP off at a time and repeat until I get it.
