Just picked mine up a few days ago and it does have a smell. It is not coolant. I think it is the cosmoline or whatever preservative they spray on as the car comes across from Japan on the boat.
Ugh. It is stinky.
But gawddam is this a fine car. Excellent value for the price paid.
