    Intermittent loss of power

My car is doing exactly the same thing. Take your car to an autoparts store and ask them to scan your computer -- I'll bet you'll learn that the oxygen sensor has failed (O2 signal rich lock). Now all I have to do is find an online source for genuine Mazda parts so I can purchase a new O2 sensor...

    Messed up Oil change

I took a OEM filter down to my friendly auto parts store to compare it with a FRAM filter. The differences were obvious - the Mazda filter is superior. First, the filter media of the Mazda filter was of a denser material. There were more pleats in the OEM filter, meaning that the element has...

    Messed up Oil change

My boss' wife picked up her 3 mos. old Civic from the dealership after an oil change; she made 2 miles before the car burst into flames and burned to the ground. The "tech" forgot to install the pan drain plug!(nailbyt)

    Front Right Suspension Crunching

Boy do I have to correct my previous post.(stoned) I drove over some speed bumps today and the noise is comming from the front - not the rear! Furthermore, I no longer think it the sway bar. I agree you guys that the noise is from the front strut. I did mention the noise to the service manager...

I thought that seperate wire looms containing respectively the signal and power cables could be brought out through the bottom or rear side of the bin. Sufficient slack would allow the seat to travel - I hope. What do you think? Another variation on the same theme: remove the bin and mount the...

    Front Right Suspension Crunching

I've got a "dry rub" mostly from the rear on suspension rebound. I'm guessing it is dry (roll bar?) bushings. The noise is obvious on cold mornings for about a half mile of travel. I assume things warm(loosen) up while driveing so the noise goes away. I don't plan on complaining about my problem.

    Mazda5 Owner's Quiz

Thanks for the link. Perhaps the extra brightness from the HID is causing your pupils to close some what. If this is occuring vision in the shadows would certainly suffer.(dunno) As for the lockers: I've moved to the Mazda from my 4x4 Pathfinder - still have to adjust.(boom07)

    Mazda5 Owner's Quiz

Hey what are you laughing at?! I can only hope that a limited slip for an AT will be made available, otherwise I'm going to have to rotate tires with every oil change. Now that you have had you HIDs installed for some time: any updates or comments? What vendor did you purchase them from? Thanks,
