Are All Mazda 3 SP23's 5x7" speakers? If so, does that mean to put in 6.5" speakers i must make brackets?

What are the speakers stock size's? Is it true all Mazda 3's have 5x7" speakers, so if u wanna put 6.5" speakers into the doors u have to make adapters?
