2020 CX-9 Signature with 70,000 kms. Took to dealer at around 55,000 kms and had service manager and Mazda rep check it out and found nothing wrong. Since that time noise is worse. When accelerating from a stop or changing weight distribution on braking I get a loud knocking/ loud clicking noise...

There is a TSB with modified parts kit. Both mirrors have to come off to install kit. Mine was done while under warranty. See your dealer.

Have purchased 2019 and 2020 CX9 new and both have same brake feel that your explaining. Kind of makes one more cautious and a little insecure. Have a 2020 Mazda3 with much better brake feel. Have been looking for a solution for some time.

...and you used the OEM smart remote with the buttons on the side edge of the remote? Do you have to shut the vehicle off before unlocking the doors?

Is this with the OEM smart remote with buttons on the side edge of fob? If so, original fob works ok? Once started, do you have to stop the engine before unlocking the doors?

How does the CX9 handle with the boat. Somewhat looking at somewhat the same setup. 2019 CX9, towing a 18foot Searay, single axle, surge brakes. Do you find the power of the 2.5 litre turbo adequate? how are pulling and braking characteristics? don't really plan long trips, mostly local lakes...
