After a week at the dealer, the cx5 is back. The cx5 qualified for the TSB and diagnostics were performed identifying a failing passenger side motor. Both driver and passenger mirror assemblies were replaced per extended warranty. $1500+ total charge if not for the $0 deductible extended warranty.

Thanks, that's what I thought - can't have it both ways. Auto locking is great, will just have to have the dongle close by as you suggested.
