Mazda intake valve cleaning service question

I've got 14000 miles on mine. I'm thinking more about preventative maintenance. There's got to be some buildup going on right? Watch some youtube videos on it.

Mazda intake valve cleaning service question

Dealer wants $139 for this service, reading about turbocharged gdi engines I think it's necessary. What do you guys think? Supposed to clean the spark plug heads too.

Cold Air Intake / 2016-2019 CX-9, same engine bay?

Kind of disappointed with this thing. Not much more growl under wide open throttle. Alot of hissing noise even under normal driving though. Gas mileage has returned finally after ecu relearning. Looks nice under the hood.

2016~2023 Identify CX-9 Rubber Hose Near Intake

Just looked. Mine has a slight leak too. Gotta be normal. If you look closely at the white tip you can see a horizontal slit where the oil leaks out. Its normal. Otherwise I'm like you have no clue what it is.

    New 2019 CX9 Loving it

Right thats what I'm thinking about premium, a little bit more but a little bit better mileage so its a wash. No ethanol gas around here. I've been using Exxon Mobile 93 at about $3.58 a gallon. shell 93 is over $4 a gallon. Does anybody use a fuel additive to combat the gdi carbon build up...

    New 2019 CX9 Loving it

Loving this car guys. I've owned it 4 months and have 1400 miles on it. Just took it in yesterday for its first oil change. Even though I have 2 free changes I took my 5 quart jug of Pennzoil Ultra Platinum with me. I let them use a Mazda oem filter designed just for the turbo engine. Heard its...

It does just take off when the light turns green and cars start moving. Stop signs are a pain though. It starts then you have to stop again.

With all my cars I always bring my own oil and filter. I wonder if I should use the oem filter from the dealer for my first oil change. Whats everybody else doing?

I'll take my 9 all the way. No regrets. How can Honda and Toyota and others offer ugly or no exhaust systems at this price point?

Has anyone tried the stop and go cruise in traffic? Way cool. It will stop the car autonomously and hold it there without depressing the brake pedal at all. Then take off when traffic starts moving again.

    2019 CX-9 - list of design problems/complaints

I've had my 19 cx9 gt all wheel drive for 2 and a half weeks so far and here are some of my thoughts. 1. I have been leasing new vehicles every 3 years for 30 years now and theres no way to notice every little nuance on a test drive. Or even several test drives. So I guess I'm defending the the...
