man, i have both bent wheel and vibration during breaking!! i changed my break pads about six months ago but never turned the rotors so maybe I'll have that checked out...when i originally had the wheel vibration issue, i went to firestone and the guy showed me the bent wheel on the lift...

I don't think it's driving technique...My ex-girlfriends car was a Mercury Cougar 5-speed and I never experienced that kind of jerking.

Appreciate the feedback... Well this happens while I'm in 2nd gear only. Let me give a better example: if I'm going in 2nd gear about 15mph and let off the gas allowing the car to slow down about 5-10mph, then as soon as I touch the gas, it will jerk.

ha...no, I'm really not. Let's say I switch from 1st to 2nd gear...as soon as I touch the pedal, it jerks, especially in the lower rpms. The way I try to deal w/ the problem is putting it in neutral in the lower rpms. I don't know what it is, but it doesn't happen in any other gear.

I'm trying to figure out what's wrong w/ my car...whenever I'm in 2nd gear, my car jerks when I press the gas. It's fine when the car is in neutral or in any other gear...does anyone have an idea what that could be??

I plan on buying some new rims from machiii.net and have decided to go w/ ADR Intense. The tires I have are 195/50/16 on my stock wheels so the new wheel size will be 16x7, 114.3, but the options for offset are either 40+ or 48+. I don't have plans to lower my car so should I go w/ 40 or 48???

My tire size (on stock rims) is 195/50/16...will that fit a wheel 16X7 w/ 40mm offset? Does it matter if the bolt pattern is 5X100 or does it have to be 5X114??

lol...yea, that'd be weird if it was 44 inches. Anyway, I've looked around at several sites, and the only 16" I've found are 16x7 with 40mm offset...don't know, maybe I just have to keep searchin...
