bump.... best i can come up with is 2300 with a 1year warranty. found one for 1800 with a 6 month warranty... it has 90k on it though which is right where mine let go... anyone got one they were going to do a project on and it never panned out? don't want a warranty just a working motor.

this was last years thread about the dam snow. i lived out in the lakes region in bridgton. pretty much a small snow belt from the mtns in north conway new hampshire north conway fryburg bridgton we usually get more snow then the foot hills progection but not as much as say the farmington...

could be a loose bolt or something and when it kicks on its rattling??? not sure what type of noise you are hearing but it could be something simple like that.

sounds like a bent rim plus some possible damper issues or maybe endlink? does it go clunk when you go over bumps?

i have 225/40/18 dropped on a prokit with very minimal rubbing (only with a full load, and i have a full audio set up, over bumps or aggressive corners.)

i think there is some special block you need to squeeze the pads out. i think it can be bought at a napa or whatever parts store you like. from my understnading the normal c clamp method wouldn't work.

sounds like you threw a rod... but i have no idea how with those mods its not like you are making a ton of power... did you have detonation problems? were there any other issues with the car?

damn it... thats the date of my 30th birthday bash!! its right next door to me as well. maybe could meet up for the hurricane mtn run or something and bug out early.... will have to see how things work out
