    Rough idle issue

I’d assume there is an IAC on this vehicle. May be worth checking into.

    Cracked Cylinder Head (2018 CX-9)

We had our engine replaced and the dealer mechanic never sealed the flywheel bolts and oil leaked from between the block and the trans. I know you said your head was replaced and not the whole long block. Just thought I'd share if for some reason they did replace the whole thing, just...

CX-9 Cracked Cylinder Head after 1st Repair

That is what I was hoping to kind of figure out with this thread. If these people were to speak up, we would be able to see if they were the very early replacements. I think knowing this would maybe shut down the idea of needing this thread. I'm just super skittish on anything with this car...

CX-9 Cracked Cylinder Head after 1st Repair

I was hoping to start a new thread that is solely for the CX9s that had have the head crack issue pop up again (after first repair). That way it isn't getting lost in the plethora of other threads. I think it will help in monitoring if this is actually something that is happening for all of...

2.5T Cracked Cylinder Head/Leaking Coolant Report to the NHTSA

Can anyone let us know if you submitted a claim and how long it took to get an answer...either way? Thanks for the help!

2.5T Cracked Cylinder Head/Leaking Coolant Report to the NHTSA

Just received an email saying Mazda is still denying my claim. I don't get what the hell is going on. People are reporting that they are getting their money back.

2.5T Cracked Cylinder Head/Leaking Coolant Report to the NHTSA

So I submitted for this last night at 8pm. 9:15 this morning I got a denial email. I am more than infuriated at this, if they don't own up to this, I will be inclined to get a lawyer at this point. It said in the email that my problem/submission didn't pertain to anything in the CSP11. When...

2016~2023 CX-9 Rear diff failure at 113k kms (70k mi)

Sorry to hear this, I despise dealers anymore, and that is coming from someone who was a parts guy for 13 years at a dealer. Not Mazda, but they are all virtually becoming the same anymore, filled with easily controllable dumb people imho. To me, this trend started somewhere around 2010-ish...

2.5T Cracked Cylinder Head/Leaking Coolant Report to the NHTSA

It's funny they don't list it as a recall on the recall look-up, but when you look it up on the reimbursement page it shows/says this..lol. I guess that being said, it begs the question, has anyone submitted anything yet? Assuming there will be no notification?

2.5T Cracked Cylinder Head/Leaking Coolant Report to the NHTSA

I'm just curious, is this an actual recall as it is labeled as a "CSP"? If you look up your vin here my vehicle isnt actually listed as having a recall. But if you look it up here, it is listed as having this issue. Will we actually be notified about this? We are pulling up on a month into...

New Spark Plugs @ 50,000 miles?

I agree with Silly Wabbit. I replaced my first set at like 44-45k and they still looked good. I now have aprox 45k-ish on my current set. I am waiting till 50k to pull one and look at it this time around. I'd be interested to see what they look like at 50k if you are willing.

2.5T Cracked Cylinder Head/Leaking Coolant Report to the NHTSA

Just checking, it is now the 16th, and this morning I decided to check Mazda Customer Reimbursement and it is now listing the recall under our vehicle. In the letter I think that went out, it said to use that site. I'm just curious if anyone has submitted any invoices/paperwork back to Mazda.

    Cracked Cylinder Head (2018 CX-9)

Passenger side rear of engine, look at parts near the rear of the head. Also, look down on the undertray. May be worth taking off and inspecting in all honesty. The undertray is what kept me, and I'm sure countless others from seeing when the problem actually orginated.

CX-9 2.5T Engine Coolant Leaking TSB

I know this is the story of probably many like above, but is almost exactly what my wife and I experienced. Mazda will never get another dollar of my money...ever. I know I have posted our story here before, but I want people that may have not seen it, to read it. Our CX9 had 61k and was 4-5...

2.5T Cracked Cylinder Head/Leaking Coolant Report to the NHTSA

I'm not using it till we know more. I did look it up on whois to see if it is legit but it the info is hidden. Seems to be legit with the links at the bottom. I did look up the name Travis Young and he seems to work Mazda North America and is a mananger of recalls.

    CX-9 Mysterious Noise...Already replaced parts...Help!

When we had our engine replaced, the mechanic (did an absolute crap job overall) didn't tighten one of the bolts that holds the A/C compressor in place. So it was just rattling inside the hole. It couln't fall out due to where it was located near the body in the engine bay. It made a metal to...

AC cool but not cold (2018 CX-9)

2016 here, we just had to replace the condenser. It had corroded where the pipes bend into the heat exchanger portion.
