Is the fix to replace the grommet?

Changed the oil tonight and noticed a small amount of oil on the front of the engine. Traced it to a sensor going into the valve cover. Going to order a new grommet, and replace it. Engine has 116k miles on it. Change the oil every 3k miles due to consumption from the turbo.

I picked up some plugs today at the dealer. They are Mazda value brand, and look like they were made in an old soviet factory. has anyone used these? should I take them back and ask for the made in Japan plugs?

Coolant stop leak in a modern motor will destroy your engine. The coolant passages are so small they will become clogged. If you want to blow your engine, and void your warranty stop leak is a great way to do it.

Lol. I just posted a thread on this same thing. It looks like a vent for the transmission. I popped my hood after some spirited driving. It had some slight steam coming off it.

I had a 2013 cx-5, and I switched it to the hex head drain plug when I was having weeping issues. It was a maintenance bulletin from Mazda for the 2013s, it did have a tapered drain plug to begin with which was weird to me.

I flushed the whole system after install braking is better than it was before. I just dont know whats causing that winding down noise. the sound disappears once the brakes are warm. I always take my cars out for a test drive after any MX. had to many suprises while upgrading the old MSM.

I did not know about MX mode, and changed my rear pads like I did on my 13 cx-5. I turned the piston in a little bit, then pushed compressed the piston. The parking brake works fine. But my first couple of presses on the pedal, I get this weird winding down noise. Did I damage the EPB?
