i'd change you list to 99-00 Si, MP3 or a ZX2 S/R MP3 or S/R being my top 2 choices. The MP3 and S/R will both out handel the Si, and of the MP3 and S/R the MP3 is the best handeling and best luxory, the is best 1/4 (same as a 00 Si) and less luxory. if it makes you easier to see what i mean...

Actually if a MP3 is only gonna run about 16.5 then a Zx2 should always win(with equal drivers). My 1st time at the track I went from an idle, spun part of 2nd (drove through the box and didn't spin the tires dry) and I weigh 280lbs and still ran 16.7, my friend then ran 16.2 in it, same...

the msp motor is power site the same as a focus motor which is a zx2 motor with a differnt head s/r is basicly the Ford verion of the MP3 only MP3 got a better sound system, and swaybar, and a strutbar. so the S/R is to the zx2 what MP3 is to the Protege

when prices get high i go to 89, but im not gonna go as low as 87 on a car rated for 91+.

I'd honest like to see a S/R and MP3 go head to head on an autoX track(same driver to keep it even) and how things come out, then put a mx3 strtbar and egt sway bar on and see how it does. Im still pissed ford never numbered the S/R's

seems to me like ford shared their idea w/ mazda and mazda gave the car minor suspention additions and and luxory feel. However a comon mod is a Escort wagon or gt swaybar and mx3 strutar lol.

any one ever dyno that, its possible they are under rated. Also are there mutiple MP3 codes? i know for us S/R's there are 5 but 2 are 3more hp then the other 3 codes and have a much better 2-4k rmp power. sorry for the questions lol just looking into the parallels of the S/R and MP3 lol so...

i figured they would be faster then that, they are only ~250lbs more then a S/R and a good driver can run 15.5 them i figured they were a high 15 car

if you run 87 on a pcm designed for better timing you just wont be taking adantage of that timing and be basicly a regular protege

you guys can put a mp3 computer in a automatic? i thought they were all manual. souns like the same thing us ZX2 guys have with S/R computers, but they ONLY work on manual zx2's
