It's the card type smart key. The metal key does open the doors, so does my remote starter remote. It is strange as it worked again one day and then stoped. I will try again to replace the battery and see if it works again.

I have a 2008 CX-9 GT with Navi and Cirrus Stat radio. As a result no iPod or AUX is available. I do not use CIRRUS and would love to replace it with a iPod module so I can use my iPhone to play music (the bluetooth audio is not available in my model). Anybody knows if that is doable?
