Anyone know if using a non-Mazda dealer paint shop would invalidate any warranty? Considering some work to my car & wasn't sure what the script is. As long as they use Mazda paint etc is the warranty then protected?

When you say the same ratings are you talking about the official tyre rating system that gives a letter rating for efficiency, performance in wet & noise? Or some other reviews?

Next question - for any of you that have replaced tyres - what tyres did you plump for? Any recommendations of tyres or any to avoid? Currently i have the Yokohama Geolanders that were supplied but these don't seem to be widely available.

Called the dealer I purchased the car from to get a price for first service. Without any negotiation I was quoted 158. Based on your experiences I decided not to bother shopping around as this seemed a reasonable price!

I had a similar experience & told them where to go - was quoted something like 750 for the package. Pretty sure Arnold Clark were doing a package for CX-5 sub 500.

Thank you - going to shop around the local dealers. I bought from Phoenix but we have Arnold Clark Group up here (also trading as Machargs) so there's a few to play with. Will post quotes from each!

Hi folks Newbie to the forum. I drive the bertie basic Petrol CX-5. It's my first Mazda and I'm completely smitten by it. Had the car since Sept 13, done around 13k miles and now coming up to first year service. No real issues with the car (apart from other muppets running into it!!)...
