I'm going to assuming there was an issue with the 5 volt DC power corrupting the USB controller...Still strange that the drive would still work in other devices, but oh well...All that matters is it's easily fixable.

Was driving my AWD GT and went over some rocks/wet asphalt today and heard a very loud "boing" sound. Like a spring noise. Obviously a rock hit something...I never heard that kind of noise in my old M3, or any other vehicle. If had lots of undercarriage/rock noise in my years of driving...but...

Thanks, Mike. Are you familiar with what Mazda Canada uses for their "Genuine Mazda Synthetic Oil". Maybe someone on these forums have done an oil analysis on the Canada stuff. I'm really thinking, now, that I should have left the FF in. But maybe it's still good I did the early(ish) OIC
