Replacing 2014 CX-5 GT halogen fog light bulbs w/LEDs

Reporting back to the group: The Fahren LED bulbs work great but had to be adjusted so that the LEDs are perfectly vertical. The bulb has two LEDs on either side of a flat "blade", and the flat blade must be vertical (like this: I ) inside the fog light housing, with the LEDs on either side...

Replacing 2014 CX-5 GT halogen fog light bulbs w/LEDs

Hey guys - I've got a 2014 CX-5 Grand Touring that seems to blow a halogen fog light bulb (H11) every 10 months or so. Anyone running LEDs in the fog light housing? Did you get it the LED bulb to fit in the projector? Did you need to install a resistor or some other gizmo to prevent error...

    Ignition coil failure

Well, just a couple of weeks on new plugs (yes, OEM plugs: see my post here) and the CX-5 strands my wife on a busy road. Check engine and TPMS lights on, engine shuddering and in "limp-home" mode. Towed to dealer (thanks AAA) and codes read #2 cylinder misfire, coil and plug are dead. I've...

    Spark plug replacement surprise

Yes, plug on the bottom is the leftmost cylinder (#1?) and top is rightmost (#4? closest to battery). Not that surprising, seen that in lots of plugs several cars I've done over the years. I'm no expert but my gut feeling is that these high compression ratio engines take a toll on these parts...

2014 Touring FWD - Spark Plug Model Number?

Yes, noticed that as well. I think the "S" part number has been replaced with the "R" but cannot confirm. In any case, the "R" part number is what comes up after several searches in various Mazda dealer parts websites. Hmmm, maybe it's taking some time to post. I commented on a review left by...

Did mine as well (2014 Grand Touring AWD, 2.5L). Here's how they looked after nearly 5 years and 60k miles: more at: https://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?123864800-2014-Touring-FWD-Spark-Plug-Model-Number&p=6594551&viewfull=1#post6594551

2014 Touring FWD - Spark Plug Model Number?

Spark plug replacement I went ahead and replaced them on our 2014 Grand Touring AWD after almost 5 years and 60k miles. I know the manual says 75k miles but I figure it was time given the high compression ratio SkyActiv engines and the lots of stop and go seen by this car (my spouse's hour...
