I have to concur with the recommendation to "get both." A littke over a week ago, my wife got a '14 CX 5 and I got a '14 6 GT. We are very happy with both of them although I must admit we're both stilll on the first tank of gas! I think whichever way you go you will be happy. Best of luck!

Just got my new Mazda 6 GT this past weekend. Also, my wife got a new 14 CX 5 GT at the same time! We are really loving the new cars. Previously owned a 11 Mazda 3, 11 Mazda CX 9, and a 06 Mazda Miata. Here is a cell phone shot of mine.
